A Peer Mentoring Circle (PMC) is a group of women who meet to spend dedicated time supporting each other in working towards individual goals.  Each person gives and receives support and encouragement and uses each other as a developmental resource.
  • Meet other women in SET

  • Share experiences, discuss issues and pool ideas.
This workshop is for you if you are a woman with a background in a Science, Engineering, Technology or a Built Environment subject (SET)

You may be:
  • Returning to work after a career break
  • At risk of being made redundant or have been made redundant
  • Looking for a suitable SET opportunity
  • Working in an unsuitable SET or non-SET job
  • A SET student
  • Wanting to progress in your career

The UKRC

The UKRC is the Government's lead organisation for the provision of advice, services and policy consultation regarding the under-representation of women in science, engineering, technology and the built environment (SET).

We work with employers; professional bodies; education institutions; women's organisations and networks; policy institutes; sector skills councils; the government and many others to promote gender equality in SET. We offer tailored services and support for women at all career stages.
